No bus to ensure connection
In addition, no replacement bus (the famous “T-bus) is planned to ensure the connection, although it is heavily used during rush hour. The 92 will, according to our information, be split into two sections “Fort-Jaco-Louise ” and “Parc-Gare de Schaerbeek”. The 93 will be limited to the Legrand-Louise section and will therefore no longer serve Laeken.
New site, new trams, metro interruptions…: this is what STIB is planning for this year 2025
Jules De Trooz too
On the Jules De Trooz side, there is talk of replacing the dysfunctional stop, although it was redeveloped in 2020. The De Trooz and Masui stops will merge. From January 12 to June 15, 2025, lines 10, 62 and 93 will be disrupted. “Trams 10 are diverted between Docks Bruxsel and Thomas via Verboekhoven and Liedts,” indicates STIB. Line 62 will only be operated between Liedts and Eurocontrol.
In addition, “bus lines 58 and 88 will be adapted to ensure local service in the De Trooz sector”. At the end of this work, the Royale, Petit Sablon and De Trooz stops will therefore be renovated and better accessible, particularly for PRMs.
