Airbus announced that it had delivered 766 planes in 2024, four aircraft less than its revised forecast of 770, in a context marked by supply chain tensions and geopolitical uncertainties.
These deliveries, up compared to the 735 devices in 2023, remain below the 863 units delivered in 2019, before the pandemic. The European group, however, says it is confident for 2025, counting on a gradual ramp-up in its flagship segments, notably the A320neo and A321neo single-aisle aircraft, which represent a major share of the aircraft delivered this year.
Airbus’ order book now stands at 8,658 aircraft, or more than 10 years of production at the current rate.
