OPEL presents its new trio of SUVs at the Brussels Motorshow 2025

With these new features, OPEL is strengthening its electrification strategy, because the three SUVs presented on stand 5.07 in Hall 5 of the Brussels Expo are electrified: either fully electric or equipped with efficient 48V mild hybridization.

Visitors can also discover the brand’s bestsellers in a wide range of segments during public days, with the electric Corsa, the Astra Sports Tourer and the Vivaro Electric multi-purpose utility vehicle.

New Grandland: visionary solutions

OPEL showed what it means by “German Energy” and how the brand envisions the automotive future with the sensational “OPEL Experimental” concept. The all-new Grandland, which can already be ordered and is electrified in all its versions, brings many of the Experimental’s visionary innovations to life.

The premium SUV is the first OPEL vehicle based on the BEV-native STLA Medium platform and offers many revolutionary technologies, smart features and sustainable solutions. The winner of the “Golden Steering Wheel 2024” still shines with the new Vizor 3D and the front-lit OPEL Blitz for the first time. Seen from the rear, the Grandland also features the continuously illuminated “OPEL” name.

New Frontera: a versatile and affordable vehicle

With its exceptional styling and robust interpretation of OPEL’s design philosophy, the new Frontera also stands out from the crowd. Under its body, the 4.38 meter long electrified SUV, which can accommodate up to seven people, offers exemplary value for money.

The new Frontera is suitable for both short and long journeys, which is a top priority. At the front, the driver and front passenger can, if they wish, sit on the new patented Intelli-Seat, which has a central slot that relieves the coccyx.

The trunk can hold 460 liters of luggage, or up to 1,600 liters when the seats are folded. The driver and passengers have a cockpit with a new steering wheel and two 10-inch wide screens (optional).

In addition, the Frontera offers many practical features, including the Smartphone dock. Flexible, clear and modern in its design and with many practical solutions, the new Frontera is an affordable and family-friendly SUV.

New Mokka: livelier and more modern

The new Mokka can also be ordered now. It completes the new OPEL SUV trio, which is the youngest SUV range on the market.

From the start, this type of vehicle impressed with its bold and pure design. This is why OPEL has not completely revised the appearance of the Mokka, but rather subtly highlighted its visual assets. The new OPEL Blitz in the center of the front helps to accentuate the character of the Mokka.

But the biggest change is on the inside. The cockpit is even clearer and uses the OPEL Vizor graphics from the front of the vehicle. In addition, the driver and passengers can enjoy the new generation of multimedia infotainment and navigation system.

This advanced bestseller is now equipped as standard with a 10-inch digital driver information display and a color touchscreen of the same size. The latter can be easily used via widgets, like on a smartphone.

Bestsellers in different segments

In addition, visitors to the Brussels Motor Show will be able to discover other OPEL favorites in different segments. These include the best-selling Corsa small car, which has consistently led its segment in Germany in recent years. Thanks to its qualities, it also shines as a Corsa Electric for everyday mobility without local emissions.

Those looking for something a little larger (whether for family or work) can choose the Astra Sports Tourer. In addition to its many advantages in terms of technology and comfort, this compact station wagon seduces with its modular space. The rear seats can be folded as needed using the Easy Fold function in a 40:20:40 ratio. The trunk volume increases from 597 to 1,634 liters, providing sufficient storage space, even for bulky luggage or bulky objects.

Professionals looking for a cutting-edge, versatile vehicle capable of carrying a large load while emitting zero local emissions will find what they are looking for in the Vivaro Electric. The 100 kW (136 horsepower) electric van, available in two lengths, is equipped with either a 50 kWh battery and a range of up to 223 kilometers (according to the WLTP standard), or a 75 kWh battery and a range of up to 352 kilometers (WLTP).
