Nikolay Goltsev’s wife, Kristina Puzyreva, also pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering in connection with this affair last February.

Excerpts from a May 30, 2023 text message conversation between Goltsev and his wife, co-defendant Kristina Puzyreva, regarding a drone attack in Moscow and their support for Russia:
Puzyreva – What is Putin waiting for? He must destroy Ukraine.
Goltsev – Yeah, they’re going to get f—ed anyway.
Puzyreva – He must scare them. These losers.
Goltsev – Well, the way he acts, they have the right to do the same thing.
Puzyreva – I hate it anyway [l’insulte ethnique pour les Ukrainiens].
