Virginie Ledoyen will be playing opposite David Suchet in a series entitled “The Au Pair”

Surprise – French actress joins the cast of this psychological thriller produced by Channel 5

Virginie Ledoyen is set to make her debut in a British series! The 47-year-old French actress has joined the cast of The Au Paira psychological thriller in series format produced by Channel 5. She will play opposite the legendary David Suchet, well known for having played Hercule Poirot in the British series bearing the name of Agatha Christie’s hero.

In this series, Virginie Ledoyen will play the pivotal role of a whistleblower. The plot will focus on the character of Zoe Dalton (Sally Bretton), a seemingly fulfilled woman, whose life is turned upside down after the arrival of a young French au pair, Sandrine, played by Ludmilla Makowski.

A choice cast

For David Suchet, 78, this is his first television role in six years, as Deadline points out. He will play George, Zoe’s diabetic father, who moves in next door to her.

“We are very excited to have such an established talent as Virginie Ledoyen join the already incredible cast of The Au Pair ” said Samuel Kissous, executive producer of the series.
