The curtain fell on the 4th edition of the Digital Now International Congress, which was held from December 17 to 19, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca Hotel. Organized by the Club des Dirigeants (CDD) and placed under the aegis of the Ministries of Digital Transition, Administration Reform, and Industry and Commerce, this event brought together more than 5,000 participants, consolidating its place as the unmissable event for digital transformation in Morocco.
Driss Drif, president of the Club Des Dirigeants, declared: “Digital Now 2024 has highlighted the central role of digital as a driver of economic and social transformation for Morocco. This 4th edition embodies our ambition to position the Kingdom as a key player in the global digital ecosystem, by placing innovation, inclusion and support for young talents at the heart of our priorities. »
With the central theme “Digital for All – An Inclusive and Transformative Digital”, this edition highlighted the issues and challenges of Digital as engines of growth, while emphasizing its role in social inclusion, education, health and finance. More than 30 exhibitorsfrom local and international companies, presented innovative technological solutions, thus strengthening the attractiveness of the event for managers and decision-makers. The congress also welcomed 30 renowned speakersincluding thought leaders and experts in emerging technologies, who shared their vision and experiences through strategic discussions and dynamic panels.
A rich and diverse program
Over three days, participants were able to attend 8 panels, 4 keynotes and a masterclass, addressing crucial themes such as artificial intelligence, marketing and customer relations in the digital age, leadership and talent training, the overhaul of business models, digitalization or even the financing of SMEs. These sessions offered an in-depth analysis of the strategic issues for Morocco's digital future. Digital inclusion, recognized as a major priority, was the subject of discussions on ways to reduce inequalities in digital access, particularly in rural areas and for people with special needs. Furthermore, innovations such as artificial intelligence and the Cloud have been highlighted for their potential to transform the economy. The digitalization of SMEs also occupied a central place, with concrete solutions and use cases intended to facilitate their integration into the digital ecosystem.
These varied themes made it possible to provide a complete overview of the opportunities and challenges linked to digital transformation, confirming Digital Now as an essential space for exchange for digital and innovation players.
TechTalents to reward innovative projects
The highlight of the event was the competition TechTalentsheld ahead of the conferences. This initiative promoted young Moroccan talents carrying innovative projects, rewarded during a gala evening. The finalist projects were evaluated by a jury of experts in innovation and digital transformation. In total, 4 prix were awarded, including a Coup de Cœur prize, highlighting the importance of supporting the new generation of digital entrepreneurs.
Towards a renewed ambition for 2025
The 4th edition of Digital Now marked a turning point in the promotion of inclusive and transformative digital technology in Morocco. Building on this success, the organizing team is already planning to meet in December 2025 for an even more ambitious 5th edition, with new challenges and an expanded scope.
