Some customers find themselves in a delicate financial situation. And for good reason, they spent a certain amount of money and never got their product back. Carriers have had afraid of not receiving their payment.

They therefore interrupted their deliveries. According to several testimonies, some even took advantage of this situation to ask customers for additional fees in exchange for delivery.

Le Parisien reports that collective legal action remains considered for compensate the many consumers injured following the situation of the stores. This brand concerned? Mister Carpentry. A Facebook group has also been created.

“We have neither our products nor our money”

Entitled “Mister Carpentry Scam”, the Facebook group brings together more than 400 members who spoke out and expressed their anger at the stores. Mélissa Sguaita-Matti, founder of this group, spoke more on the subject to AFP.

“We spent almost 6,000 euros for a gate and a fencee. Today, we have neither our products nor our money”she said. This situation shows the extent of the damage for individuals who find themselves trapped.

Faced with the crisis, Mister Menuiserie published an explanatory banner on its website. She detailed the possible steps for the customers concerned. For orders placed after November 12, 2024 or for which payment was received after this date, store customers will obtain a refund.

They will be contacted directly or can send an e-mail to the following address: [email protected]. They will then have to specify the reference of their purchase in the store. But that's not all.

Orders being processed before the receivership will not be able to be delivered and customers will not be able to obtain a refund. And this, due to the cessation of activity.

With 150 points of sale affected, the judicial liquidation of Mister Menuiserie could lead to a permanent closure of the stores. In the meantime, those who have placed orders recently should act quickly.

They must at all costs follow the directions given by the sign to try to limit their losses.
