Saint-Vidal: She forces the engine and the car catches fire

A motorist lost control of her car on Friday around 6 a.m. while she was driving between Saint-Vidal and Borne. The driver spared no effort in trying to get her vehicle back on the road. His repeated strong accelerations ended up creating a fire on his vehicle. Six Puy firefighters had to intervene to put out the flames. The gendarmerie also came to carry out the usual findings. The driver's blood alcohol test came back positive. She left with the police to blow into the breathalyzer. His blood alcohol level was 1.2 grams of alcohol per liter of blood.

Saint-Christophe-sur-Dolaizon: The driver hit had been drinking

A collision between two cars occurred Thursday, shortly before 7 p.m., along the RN 102, in Saint-Christophe-sur-Dolaizon. A 42-year-old driver lost control of her Renault Traffic at an intersection, colliding with a Citroën Berlingo which was stopped at the stop sign, waiting to get onto the main road. Le Puy: Two injured after a U-turn on Breuil

A Peugeot 207 which was traveling on the right lane of Boulevard du Breuil towards Boulevard Saint-Louis, in Le Puy, attempted a U-turn maneuver on Wednesday evening shortly before 9 p.m. But the car was hit by an Opel Insignia which was traveling in the same direction of traffic, in the left lane. This second vehicle was thrown onto the opposite lanes where it hit a parked Peugeot 308. The two drivers involved both complained of severe pain in their pelvis. The 18-year-old woman, driving the Peugeot 207, and the 19-year-old man, driving the Opel Insignia, were both taken to Le Puy hospital.

Blesle: He hurt himself trying to jump from the backhoe loader

A 71-year-old man was injured early Thursday afternoon in a domestic accident. He was on Route de Babory, in Blesle and was trying to install a backhoe loader on a trailer. The septuagenarian fell while trying to jump on the trailer. He was taken to Brioude hospital by firefighters.
