Tuesday, December 17, Arnaud Boué, general director of Lot Aide à domicile, and Audrey Puisségur, deputy director, took stock of the past year, promoting employment in this growing company and projecting the company's ambitions for 2025.
Lot Aide à domicile stands out as the only local public company in France specializing in home help and support, engaged in a mission of general interest. Its activity experienced strong growth in 2024, with 500,000 interventions carried out with 5,500 beneficiaries, representing 627,000 hours of work, an increase of 15% compared to the previous year. This success resulted in 4 million kilometers traveled on the roads of Lot.
The team highlighted the rise of new services, such as gardening and DIY, which totaled 4,000 hours of work, providing satisfaction to 98% of their 800 customers. Meal delivery has also progressed, with more than 153,000 meals delivered and monthly support for 550 beneficiaries.
Job creator
Arnaud Boué underlined the importance of Lot Aide à domicile as a job creator. The company's social model, rich in benefits such as paid travel from the first mile, bonuses for public holidays, and 65% coverage of mutual insurance, attracts many candidates, he says. In 2024, 70 new employees joined the team and 400 employees had the opportunity to follow 7,276 hours of training.
In addition to these activities, the company has developed a diversified range of services for the well-being of elderly people: socio-aesthetic workshops, sophrology sessions and animal mediation. All to strengthen the links between beneficiaries and home helpers.
Looking towards 2025, Arnaud Boué spoke of the continuity of the reform of the autonomy service. Lot Home Help will increase synergies with players in the home sector, illustrated by a recent agreement signed with nurses. Among future projects, a meal delivery unit promoting short circuits and the quality of Lotois agriculture is in preparation.
Audrey Puisségur recalled the importance of SAS LADom, a subsidiary of Lot Aide à domicile responsible for managing the Mapa Les Quatre Saisons de Payrac and the Marpa de Lauzès. Thanks to the resumption of their management, these structures, which were facing economic difficulties, saw their number of residents increase, accompanied by new activities and improved equipment, underlines LAD.
In short, the structure wants to continue to serve the area of ”aging well”, at home and in an establishment, respecting everyone's choices whatever their means.
