The Uruguayan newspaper cited Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's speech, according to which Vietnam should achieve the 15 objectives set for socio-economic development and economic growth of more than 7%.

The newspaper highlights that the strong economic results achieved will contribute to the expansion of the Vietnamese economy and the increase of per capita income, while highlighting the socio-political stability of the country, the strengthening of its national security and the continuous improvement of standard of living of the population.

Referring to the development of tourism in Vietnam, the newspaper The Popular reports that Vietnamese tourism had an exceptional year in 2024, with 110 million domestic tourists and a 38.9% growth in the number of international visitors, which reached 17.5 million.

2025 will mark the last year of the implementation of the five-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025, the 95e anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 50e of the liberation of the South and national reunification, the 135e of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh and the 80e of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, today Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The year 2025 will be characterized by a rationalization of the political apparatus and the organization of congresses of Party committees at all levels, thus preparing the ground for the XIVe National Party Congress, which will define the strategic directions for a new era of economic growth and development in Vietnam, the newspaper wrote.
