Bringing together the heads of the Addinn group, the Digital Transformation Acceleration Project (Patn) and those of the Digital Economy Development Agency (Aden), this working session aimed to lay the solid foundations of the significant strategy which will contribute to accelerating the work of said projects as well as its operationalization. Indeed, the e-gouv project makes it possible, among other things, to strengthen administrative efficiency; promote transparency through online access to information and services; to improve access to public services. “The minister instructed us to speed up the work of the e-gov platform. We were therefore asked to deploy all means and if possible shorten the deadlines planned with the Paten project within the framework of e-governance…Thanks to this project, the Congolese citizen will have access to all public services with much ease and accessibility. Also, we will do everything to respect the instructions given to us. A committee will be set up, the government platform will be put online for certain priority public services. In addition, the issuance of the nationality certificate and birth certificates will soon be online. This, so to speak, means that things are progressing wonderfully,” explained the general director of the Addinn group, Fethi Khelifi.
Describing the importance of this project, Minister Léon Juste Ibombo recalled that e-government projects are not only technological tools. They embody a new way of designing and delivering public services, placing citizens at the center of administration priorities. “In a world of increasingly connected, digital transformation is no longer an option, but a necessity to meet the expectations of citizens, businesses and international partners. E-government projects play a crucial role in this transition, by creating solid and accessible digital infrastructures that allow the State to better serve the population. “, he indicated.
Regarding the contribution of e-gov platforms, Minister Léon Juste Ibombo noted that they offer multiple advantages, both for citizens and for the administration itself. They promote increased accessibility of services; reducing costs for the State and for users; digital inclusion, by developing tools adapted to everyone and finally reliability and security.
Having taken part in this meeting, Borel Deby Gassaye, director of the digital ecosystem declared: “with Addinn and Patn we are working on the e-gouv project, a project which will provide digital service to citizens and businesses. Launched in September of this year, we are working hard to meet the deadlines which are 24 months. If we work hard, it can be done in 18 months.”
