The company Ryanair continues its development strategy from - with a new connection to Essaouira. From March 31, 2025, two weekly flights will connect Picardy airport to the Moroccan Atlantic coast. Departures are scheduled on Mondays and Fridays, allowing short or long stays.

This new service is part of the continuation of the strengthening of connections between and the Morocco. For the summer 2025 season, Ryanair already offers vols to Marrakech, Fez and Agadir from Paris-Beauvais. The addition of Essaouira enriches the company's offering to destinations less known to mass tourism.

Passengers departing from Paris-Beauvais will use terminals 1 and 2 of the airport, depending on their destination. The company reiterates the importance of checking in online before the flight to avoid additional fees. Checked baggage must be reserved in advance.

Access to Paris-Beauvais airport

Shuttles connect Paris Porte Maillot directly to the airport. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Parking is available for travelers coming by car. Reserving parking spaces online allows you to benefit from advantageous rates.

Essaouira: between ocean and medina

The city ofEssaouira extends along the Atlantic, 17 kilometers from its airport. Collective and individual taxis provide the connection between the airport and the city center. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.

The streets of the medina converge towards the portwhere blue boats line up along the quays. THE ramparts from the 18th century, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, offer a promenade facing the ocean. Artisans work thuja wood in their workshops, while fishmongers' stalls offer the day's catch.

THE beaches stretch to the north and south of the city. The constant wind attracts fans of surfwindsurfing and kitesurfing. The main beach, protected by the island of Mogador, is suitable for swimming and relaxing.

Essaouira's temperate climate makes it a pleasant destination all year round. Temperatures fluctuate between 20 and 25 degrees in summer, cooled by the trade winds. Winter remains mild with averages of 15 degrees.

Accommodations are concentrated in the medina and along the beach. Traditional riads offer an authentic experience, while modern hotels line the seafront.

The city hosts several cultural events, including the Gnaoua Festival in June. Food markets are held daily in the medina. The restaurants serve local cuisine based on seafood.
