This Friday, December 20, the prices of domestic fuel oil show contrasting trends depending on the regions and sales platforms. A dynamic influenced by recent variations on the oil markets, which raise hopes of a short-term decline.

Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in this Friday?

According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1,071 euros on average for a purchase of 1000 liters. Conversely, it is in Champagne-Ardenne that the price is the highest, with 1,147 euros for an order of 1000 liters. As such, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Champagne-Ardenne amounts to 76 euros for a purchase of 1000 liters.

Fuel oil prices could see a drop in the coming days, driven by a downward trend in oil prices observed in recent days. International black gold markets are showing signs of relaxation, directly influencing the cost of fossil fuels. This dynamic could have a positive impact on domestic fuel prices, offering a savings opportunity for consumers as winter approaches.

According to data from Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea, a benchmark for the European market, is trading today at $72.53 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the main index in the United States , stands at $69.03. These values, down compared to previous weeks, reflect a slight decline in demand or a more abundant supply on the markets. If this trend continues, individuals could benefit from a lull in fuel oil prices.
