Since 2017, Polestar has been an entity in its own right, a brand whose logo deemed too close to that of DS by the latter prevented it from selling cars in France. With the matter finally settled, Polestar will offer its models from next year. The Polestar 5 will thus come to bite the Porsche Taycan.
Will we see this TRX soon? Nothing is less certain, as this prototype is futuristic. It is the work of Shashank Shekhar, the successful Indian designer who won the prize in front of 1,200 participants, and above all no vocation to become reality one day.
Deliberately exaggerated to match Hot Wheels cars in particular, this TRX is successful to say the least. Above its large wheels, the bodywork is on the contrary very fine. This pickup picks up somewhat the codes of the 70s with its protruding lines, like certain Bertone productions. In the end, only the light signatures recall the brand’s current productions.
Coming soon…
This Polestar TRX will indeed be produced, but there is no point hoping to see it appear on scale 1. Indeed, it will be available in the Hot Wheels range at 1/64 in the summer of 2025. The second prize, the Cyber Shaker, will not be entitled to its miniature. Yet successful, this long sports coupe is less in tune with the times than the buggy in search of adventure…
