With an average annual income of 106,283 euros, it far outpaces its competitors. Pork brings in big bucks. Already in 2022 he was at the top of the table. Conversely, cereal producers have fallen sharply, finding themselves at the bottom of the ranking, a place they are rarely used to occupying. Their income increased, in one year, from 66,381 to 11,969 euros. They are even ahead of sheep and goat breeders (17,641 euros) who usually bring up the rear. To cushion the shock, cereal growers can count on other crops, such as beets or potatoes, which rank second among the best performers in 2023, at 65,427 euros. Knowing that third position is occupied by poultry breeders, at 51,139 euros.
