The foie gras concerned comes from the South-West and is marketed in vacuum packaging under the Delpeyrat brand. Its weight: 450g.

A suspicion of listeria
Why is this foie gras recalled? For suspected presence of listeria bacteria, agent responsible for listeriosison the production line.
“Listeriosis is an illness that can be serious and whose incubation period can be up to eight weeks,” recalls RappelConso.
Given the health risks, particularly for pregnant women and immunocompromised people, it is recommended to no longer consume the product.
