Bell Media brings together its troops within the same newsroom

Bell Media will shortly be carrying out a major restructuring of its newsroom.

The company announced Tuesday that all journalists under the umbrella of Bell Media Quebec will now work in the same newsroom, called “collaborative” and “unified”. The Noovo Info teams, including journalists from the Rouge and Énergie stations, will work alongside employees of CTV News Montréal, CJAD, as well as the team from the Noovo Moi digital platform.

Bell Media also announced Tuesday that it would bring together all of Quebec’s music radio stations, CHOM, Virgin, ÉNERGIE and Rouge, within the same team. A decision aimed at strengthening Bell Media’s brand portfolio in Quebec and generating growth.

“This new structure will allow us to maximize collaborations by bringing together the Quebec expertise of the news and music radio teams under the leadership of Suzane Landry. This change will promote the optimization of our know-how and ensure the growth of our platforms,” said Stewart Johnston, Senior Vice President, Content and Sales.
