An increase announced last June following an agreement between Health Insurance and private doctors. The negotiations initiated in November 2023, between the two parties, result from a inflation and a constant increase in the costs of general practitioners, but also a lack of practitioners in certain regions.
Note that, for children under 6 years old, the consultation will increase to 35 euros, compared to 31.50 euros until now.
Pediatrician, gynecologist, psychiatrist…
This agreement, valid for five years, is accompanied by an increase – from 1 to 2 euros – in the fixed contribution, “that is to say the patient's contribution which is not subject to reimbursement of the 'Health insurance or complementary health insurance', specifies the Service-public website.
In addition to general practitioners, the cost of a consultation with the pediatrician will increase to 39 euros for a child under 2 years old from December 22. “ The coordinated consultation with the psychiatrist, neuropsychiatrist or neurologist, set at 51.70 euros, will increase to 55 euros in December to reach 57 euros in July 2025.
A consultation with the gynecologist will, finally, not be the same price since the amount, currently set at 31.50 euros, will reach 37 euros from December.
