6-cylinder in-line, 530 hp, 650 Nm of torque and 0 to 100 km/h can be done in 3.6 seconds, the BMW M3 Touring is a real hit. And with its station wagon body, it combines business with pleasure. A tasty cocktail… but not yet enough for Manhart which has just presented its new creation based on this model, the MH3 800 Touring.
A vehicle reviewed by a car trainer often means an exuberant look, this is not the case for this MH3 800 Touring. So yes, certain appendices do not deceive about the goods, like the champagne colored rims 20” at the front and 21” at the rear. The outline of the beans, the fins at the front or the covering on the profile adopt this same color. For the rest, this MH3 800 Touring does no more than the basic M3 Touring, which is already sufficiently suggestive, particularly at the rear with its massive air extractor and its two double exhaust outlets.
Maximize engine power
In fact, Manhart mainly focused on make the 3.0 6-cylinder as powerful as possible. And it was successful. From 530 hp, this M3 Touring goes significantly more than 800 hp (855 hp). The couple makes a phenomenal leap forward and achieves a colossal 1 090 Nm. To absorb this excess of additional power, the 8-speed automatic transmission has been revised to absorb up to 1,300 Nm of torque.
Performances are not announced but we can imagine a 0 to 100 km/h under 3 s. This should satisfy the most jaded among you.
