So what is “Smart Vape”? This new type of electronic cigarette has enjoyed strong popularity for some time thanks to social networks. More advanced than any vape you've ever seen, this model has a screen in addition to the smoking system, reports BFMTV this Tuesday.

Single-use, like the Puff, the Smart Vape offers the possibility of making calls, hanging out on social networks and playing video games, some of which even create competition between smokers. “There are applications that make rankings: the more we draw, the better we will be ranked,” specifies a specialist journalist at BFMTV.

A potentially dangerous product

The Smart Vape mainly targets young people, in particular thanks to its screen and its packaging. But in France, the product is banned and is therefore not accessible because it does not comply with current standards. It indeed offers a nicotine concentration of 50 mg, while the maximum legal level is 20 mg.

However, it is possible to buy them online. Electronic cigarette specialists have sounded the alarm about this new business which represents a real danger. In addition to being illegal throughout Europe, the product does not provide any safety for the user because it has not undergone any regulatory control.

The products can therefore be potentially dangerous, particularly with regard to the battery and the e-liquid inside, notes BFMTV. In addition, the Smart Vape costs between 30 and 40 euros for a lifespan of… two days. A considerable budget for a dangerous and very, very fleeting pleasure.
