In the footage filmed by another passenger, Gino Galofaro, we can see the individual, dressed in a kangaroo and sweatpants, standing on his reclined seat, attacking it with his feet violent and repetitive.

The other passengers observe the scene, stunned, refraining from intervening so as not to suffer the wrath of the angry man.

Galofaro said he was asleep during the flight, but was awakened by sounds emanating from the vicious attack, which occurred just an hour before the plane landed in Los Angeles.

“The flight attendant came by several times, no one did anything,” said Galofaro, who finally decided to take matters into his own hands by ending the altercation between the angry man and the inanimate object. .

He and two other passengers joined forces to tie his hands and feet with zip ties, in addition to strapping him to a seat (which was not the poor innocent seat).

Once the aircraft landed in California, the belligerent was picked up by the police authorities.

“Local law enforcement encountered United Flight 502 upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport after a customer became out of control,” a United Airlines spokesperson said. “We thank our crew for helping to resolve the situation and ensuring the safety of all passengers.”

The troublemaker will now be banned from traveling on United Airlines planes.

Galofaro, who works as an addiction treatment worker, said he hopes to contact the protagonist’s family to see if he can help.
