Leisure vehicles enabled French manufacturer Trigano to record a new record net profit for the 2023/2024 financial year, according to a press release published on Monday.
The European leader in motorhomes (Chausson, Challenger, Adria brands) published a net profit of 374.5 million euros (+21.5%), with a record operating margin of 12.8%, indicated the group in a press release.
Its turnover reached 3.9 billion euros, up 12.8%.
Trigano benefited in particular from “the increase in motorhome sales”, “cost control” and “improved productivity” in the group, despite disruptions in the logistics chain.
The group's finances were affected this year by “a clear increase in stocks” both “at the integrated distribution level” and “in the factories affected by disruptions in the supply chain, linked to the delivery conditions of the rolling bases “, with a move to stricter environmental standards.
“This situation should normalize during the first half of 2025,” underlined the group. As a result, its gross cash flow amounted to 261.3 million euros compared to 359 million in August 2023.
And at the end of 2024, “customer interest in motorhomes remains strong”, notes the group.
“The clientele of first-time buyers remains structurally high, while this start of the season is marked by the return of the repeat clientele, thus reinforcing the current craze for traditional motorhomes. A future drop in interest rates could further consolidate the good direction of the market in the coming months,” explains Trigano.
The Trigano management board will propose to the general meeting of January 8, 2025 the payment of a gross dividend of 3.50 euros per share for the financial year.
