SICPA: redundancies revised downwards

A security solutions giant, known in particular for manufacturing bank note inks, SICPA will ultimately eliminate “less than 90 positions”, indicates the company based in Prilly. This figure should be compared with the 120 deletions planned last October. “The number of layoffs is being revised downwards thanks to new proposals and cost-saving measures,” indicates SICPA. An agreement was voted on by staff at the Prilly, Bussigny and Chavornay sites, which benefited from support from the UNIA union. In its press release, SICPA recalls that it employs some 3,000 employees worldwide. In addition to the 90 Swiss positions, around a hundred will also be eliminated internationally. ADE
