45 kilos of chocolate

The inordinate demand for this expensive chocolate must be satisfied somehow. This is what a 31-year-old man who wanted to import, on November 4, thought a big load of chocolate from Dubai from Switzerland to Germanyas the main customs office in Lörrach announced on Thursday. Without completing customs formalities and paying import taxes, he was arrested by agents shortly after crossing the border. They found 243 boxes containing approximately 45 kilos of chocolate from Dubai in the van with a Swiss license plate.

The driver indicated that he was going to Dortmund to deliver the goods there. He had to pay import taxes of almost 920 euros. The press release states:
