The opinion of our journalist-tester

“It is not the best in its category, certainly not the most beautiful, but like an MG3 Hybrid +, the EHS offers an unbeatable price/equipment ratio in the plug-in hybrid family SUV segment. It will still be necessary to show tolerance on certain finishing and ergonomic details but MG nevertheless shows constant progress with each new model. Sufficiently modern without falling into the gadget machine, the‘EHS offers just what you need to have that feeling of not missing anything and will appeal to the most rational among us.

The strong points of the plug-in hybrid SUV

  • Comfort and space on board
  • Autonomy in 100% electric mode
  • The price / equipment ratio

Its weak points

  • Trunk volume down
  • The power of the on-board charger
  • Assembly and ergonomic details
