President Emmanuel Macron announced this Tuesday, November 19, that he would invite the new American President Donald Trump as well as his ally Elon Musk, owner of the social network X, to a summit on artificial intelligence planned for February.

While the Summit for Action on Artificial Intelligence is scheduled for February 10 and 11 in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron plans to invite his future counterpart, Donald Trump, as well as the American tech mogul, Elon Musk.
“I invited China, the United States and the major countries that are involved,” and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi “also confirmed his arrival,” said the French president. Elon Musk will also be invited “like the great entrepreneurs” involved in these issues, he added.
Also boss of Tesla and SpaceX, the South African billionaire, omnipresent in the entourage of the American president-elect, was recently appointed to the new department of government efficiency in order to cut public spending.
“I will also have the opportunity to receive on December 6 a group of American entrepreneurs and university academics who are involved in this subject,” he concluded on the sidelines of a G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro.
