“It’s not because I went [en Floride] with my children or that there are people who help me that I lead the life of a princess,” argues the man who was at the head of the defunct Huot Group, in an interview with our Investigation Office.

Stéphane Huot has difficulty digesting the “disturbing new information” invoked by the lawyers of his former financial partner Robert Giroux in connection with various expenses “which seem incompatible” with his “bankruptcy status”.

“It could be! Even if I was going for a bike ride, it seems like I’m lucky to be going for a bike ride. It’s ridiculous, it’s relentlessness,” denounces Stéphan Huot.

A house paid for by a friend

Remember that since his financial debacle, Stéphan Huot has sold at a discount his luxurious condo in Florida as well as his large mansion in the Lebourgneuf district. He has since resided in a residence worth half a million dollars, in Fossambault-sur-le-Lac.

“It’s a friend who pays for me. When you get there, the big billionaire who gets his house paid for… wow,” he finishes.
