While discussions on the ecological transition are in full swing at COP29, CoopERLiC, the Liège citizen cooperative specializing in renewable energy, is launching a call for new cooperators. There are less than two months left to take advantage of the Tax Shelter tax system, offering an exceptional tax reduction of 45%, which ends on January 13, 2025.
Since its creation in 2021, CoopERLiC has slowly managed to make itself known in the Liège region. It already produces electricity thanks to a wind turbine in Juprelle, photovoltaic installations on the roofs of social economy centers in Liège and the Préhistomuseum in Ramioul.
In addition, the cooperative offers an integrated energy renovation support service (SIARE), contributing to the energy improvement of local condominiums. This is the case, for example, at the Cour Saint-Antoine where during 2020-2022, its expertise was requested to guide the energy transition of residents. The proposals considered included insulation, boiler replacement and electricity production (cogeneration and photovoltaic panels). The co-ownership ultimately decided to focus only on the most urgent needs, opting for the replacement of the boilers.
This new fundraising aims to finance new renewable energy projects, thus increasing the production capacity of green and civic electricity, communicates the cooperative, which reminds that by investing €200, we actually only pay €137 .50 € thanks to the tax reduction.
Each share costs €100, with a maximum of €5,000 per investor: the call is limited to 2,000 places.
How to participate?
