This Tuesday, November 12, the government website Rappel conso launched two alerts concerning bottles of milk sold at Carrefour. Another recall dating from November 8 also concerned bottles of milk, but sold at Leclerc.
Milk consumers, be careful with the bottles you hold. This Tuesday, November 12, the government site Rappel Conso launched an alert about two batches of milk bottles, in addition to another recall dating from last November 8.
First of all, there are two packs of milk, both sold at Carrefour. Firstly, the pack of six one-liter organic Carrefour semi-skimmed milk bottles, sold between September 16 and November 5 (GTIN identifiers 3270190025337 and 3270190216834).
On the other hand, the pack of six bottles of easy-to-digest Organic Carrefour milk, sold between September 6 and November 8, with the identifier GTIN codes 3560071510497 and 3560071510503.
The cause: a manufacturing defect and a sealing defect, causing the milk to curdle. “These products are therefore likely to present a danger to the health of consumers,” warns the government site. The products must be returned to the store or destroyed. A reimbursement campaign is underway until January 8, 2025.
Milk sold at Leclerc also affected
On November 8, the Conso Rappel site had already launched an alert on bottles of milk, this time sold at Leclerc. This is the one liter bottle of Grand Lait Bio from Candia. The latter are recalled for “organoleptic defects”.
This poses no health risk, but the taste of the milk may be changed and no longer be palatable. Bottles of milk can also be returned to the store with your receipt, in exchange for compensation in the form of a reduction voucher.
