Pia Guggenbühl appointed director of the Swiss Media publishers’ association

Pia Guggenbühl is the new association director of the Swiss Media Publishers Association (VSM). She succeeds Stefan Wabel who will leave his position at the end of the year to become chief operating officer of CH Media.

Pia Guggenbühl will take office on February 1, Schweizer Medien said on Monday. She is currently a member of the management of Scienceindustries, the association of chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

“We are convinced that Pia Guggenbühl will be able to ideally bring her many years of experience in political advocacy and association management as well as her extensive network in politics and the media and will effectively represent the interests of our members. », indicated Schweizer Medien in a press release.

“Private and independent media make a central contribution to a diverse Swiss media landscape, but they are in high demand,” said Pia Guggenbühl, quoted in the press release.
