An order for Naval Group and Chantiers de l’Atlantique
The order was officially placed in April 2024 by the Directorate General of Armaments.

The PANG will be built in Saint-Nazaire. It should be ordered in 2025, according to the Finance Bill (PLF) defined by the government, and its construction should therefore begin at the end of next year. With a length of 305 meters, it will be able to catapult between 25 to 30 on-board Rafale aircraft.
