DayFR Euro

she understood just by seeing the package, “I have to pay 480 euros for that…”

Ordering a package can sometimes hold a few surprises. Remember, we recently told the story of the mishap experienced by Alysia when she ordered on Amazon. More recently, it was Line who experienced the same misfortune while ordering from Zalando.

In total, she had ordered a value of 969.65 euros on the platform. The GLDS company was then responsible for transporting his package, which then weighed 5 kilos! But a few days later, it was a cold shower for Line: she discovered a 1 kilo package outside her door. Much less than what she had ordered.

“Only two clothes in the box”

After opening the already crumpled and torn box, Line examines its contents and makes a bitter observation. “There were only two items of clothing in the box,” she laments. “There was a winter coat and short pants. »

Scandalized, the young woman decides to report the problem to Zalando. “I took photos, I filled out all the paperwork and I also notified GLS,” she told Belang van Limburg. It was then that the young woman was stunned: Zalando asked her to pay for everything she ordered and did not return. For the platform, all of its items were scanned, packaged and shipped correctly. “They told me that if I had any complaints about the delivery, I should address them to the carrier,” she explains.

“480 euros quickly”

At GLS, the answer is the opposite: you must contact Zalandoi, who would be the responsible party. A real game of ping-pong so…

“Now I have a collection company asking me to pay 480 euros as quickly as possible for pants and a jacket that I don’t have,” she exclaims.

On the advice of the police, the Limburg woman filed a complaint with the FPS Economy “We strive to offer our customers a pleasant and convenient shopping experience,” responds Zalando. “We are constantly working to improve our service and are happy to answer any questions or concerns. We also apply this approach in the present case. Currently, we are still carefully evaluating the customer’s order and will take appropriate action if necessary. »
