Air Algérie wins an Excellence Award

Air Algérie operates flights to and from many airports around the world. However, it was at the prestigious Dubai International Airport, in the United Arab Emirates, that she received her latest distinction.

Dubai Airports, the operator of Dubai International Airport, organized the celebration of the Excellence Awards 2024 at the end of last October, which are awarded to its best partners, notably airlines.

Dubai Airport rewards Air Algérie

Dubai Airport has therefore rewarded several airlines for their efforts during the year 2024, by awarding them Excellence Awards in several categories such as quality of services, punctuality, commitment, development, etc.

Air Algérie was among the 9 companies rewarded by Dubai airport. The Algerian national airline announced on Monday, November 4, that it had won the Excellence in Commitment prize.

The Dubai airport report notably highlighted Air Algérie’s commitment to improving the customer experience, crisis management and communication.

An observation which therefore reflects the Algerian airline’s desire to offer the best for its customers and its efforts to remain in perpetual improvement.

As a reminder, Air Algérie operates flights to and from Europe, America, Africa and Asia. The company has placed an order with Boeing and Airbus for the acquisition of 15 new aircraft, the first of which, an A330-900, will be received in June 2025.

Dubai Airport: here are the 8 other companies honored

In addition to Air Algérie, only 8 other companies have been awarded Excellence Awards by Dubai International Airport. A very limited list therefore, knowing that the airport is the destination of dozens of world-renowned airlines.

The Excellence in Customer Service award went to Germany’s Lufthansa. Qatar Airways was rewarded for its excellence in the punctuality of its short-haul flights. Singapore Airlines for its excellence in the punctuality of its medium and long-haul flights.

Air India, for its part, was awarded the Excellence award for the quality of its operations, while the Excellence in Partnership award was won by Gulf Air. The Indian low-cost airline IndiGo was rewarded for its Excellence in sustainable development initiatives.

The Excellence Award for Dedication to Community Development was given to Fly Dubai, while the Above & Beyond Excellence Award was given to Saudia and the Inclusive Travel Award was given to Emirates.
