As part of its development, HACA Partners is proud to welcome Vincent Marquis as a tax specialist in its Consulting department. His arrival is part of HACA Partners’ desire and strategy to extend its service offering to tax themes.
With 20 years of experience in Luxembourg, first in the tax department of a consulting company, within law firms, then, over the last 7 years in an “in-house” tax specialist role in bank dealing with tax matters impacting Luxembourg financial institutions. Vincent has built solid expertise and experience on subjects such as tax transparency, exchange of information, tax AML and the tax governance expected by regulators to regulate these subjects.
Within HACA Partners, Vincent will work in close collaboration with all existing departments as soon as tax expertise becomes available, and for example with the Regulatory & Compliance department of HACA Partners in order to pragmatically cover the aspects AML compliance reviews.
His areas of expertise also cover Luxembourg tax issues relating to corporate tax and VAT. These skills will also allow him to lead training in tax matters within HACAdemy.
In line with HACA Partners’ objective of being an active player in the Luxembourg market, Vincent contributes to working groups dealing with tax subjects.
