This flying car pushes the limits of agility: impressive!

Flying taxi demonstrations always highlight the safety and stability of the devices. But what are they really capable of in the hands of a human pilot? The Swedish manufacturer Jetson has just published a video of its carcar steering wheel Jetson Onepiloted in “freestyle” by its founder Tomasz Patan.

The machine, which looks like an XXL quadcopter drone, was unveiled in 2022, with pre-orders opening in 2023. It is a single-seater eVTOL, in other words a aéronefaéronef electric vertical takeoff and landing. The video shows all the agility of the Jetson Onewith different aerial maneuvers and tight turns.

All production already reserved until 2026

The device has four double rotors, eight propellers and eight motors. He weighs only 115 kilogramskilograms including batteries and can reach a vitessevitesse peak of 102 km/h. It is capable of lifting a pilot with a maximum weight of 95 kilograms and exceeding 457 meters in altitude. The manufacturer announces an autonomy of 20 minutes. The device doesn’t even need a pilot’s license in the United States.

The Jetson One is available for pre-order directly on the manufacturer’s website at a price of 128,000 dollars (117,000 euros) excluding taxes. Many devices have already been ordered, so the first deliveries for any new orders will have to wait until 2026.
