At the Saunier Duval factory in , the unions are raising their voices a notch while discussions are underway regarding the PSE (Employment Protection Plan) which provides for the elimination of 225 positions (out of 750) . CGT and FO installed a barnum, at 5 a.m., this Monday, October 14, in front of the factory. All production is stopped. Almost the entire morning shift has stopped work according to Marie Paule Dupont, CGT elected official.

The announcement of a resumption of work in 3×8 shifts, for the production of boilers, angered the unions: Asking employees to work 3×8 shifts in the middle of the PSE is not possible. We tell ourselves that the group wants to stock up before things get tougher.

The CGT is also concerned about a reduction in the envelope allocated to the social plan by the German group Vaillant, which owns Saunier Duval.
