So much so that in August, the soils of Haute-Corse had not been so dry since 1950.
“It will be a very good year”
The back-to-school rains were therefore welcomed with blessing by mushroom enthusiasts. “Cit will be a very good year“, assures Jean Alesandri, member of the Ajaccio mycological society for more than fifty years. “All indicators are green” continues the septuagenarian, “It’s not cold, the soils have received a lot of water, the air is humid, we can already produce good harvests. The species are varied.“
