The railway company specifies at 8 a.m. that TGV traffic is able to resume from Lille Flandres. On the other hand, for TER, traffic should remain largely disrupted “until the end of the day”.
The number of trains affected has not been communicated. On “not possible given the scale of the disruption”. Eurostars are not affected by the incident.
Transport Minister François Durovray condemns “this act of sabotage at the Lille Flandres station which penalizes the French and attacks the Northern railway network”.
