During the month of September 2024, these are 14.398 passenger vehicles and light utility vehicles (VP+LCV) which found buyers, compared to 11,747 units sold in September 2023, an increase of around +22,57%. A month during which BYD signed, for the second time in a row, the best performance on the market in terms of growth!
In detail, the passenger vehicle (PV) market recorded an increase of around +24,97% with 12.684 units sold in September 2024, compared to the month of September 2023 during which 10,116 units were sold.
The light utility vehicle (LCV) market is also experiencing an increase of around +7.33% with 1.714 units sold in September 2024 compared to 1,597 vehicles sold a year earlier.
HYUNDAI again on the podium
In terms of the Top 10 of the general market, the month of September was mainly positive: 9 brands saw their sales increase, while only one declined. The leader DACIAwhich recently opened orders for the new Joggercontinues its momentum and records a good progression of around +42.4, thanks to the 3,503 units sold.

RENAULT remains in second position and records an increase of +11.28%. During the past month, the diamond brand sold 1.944 units.

Just behind, HYUNDAI regains its third place lost in August thanks to 1.002 vehicles sold. The South Korean brand is growing +9,99%.
In the rest of the ranking, VOLKSWAGEN gained one place and found himself in 4th position. The “people’s car” recorded meteoric growth last month of the order of +88.89% (the best in this Top 10!), thanks to 952 units elapsed.

In 8th place, KIA also wins a place with 443 units sold. The South Korean brand, which recently started marketing the Restyled Sonet in Morocco, progresses by +11.87%.

SEAT managed to remain in the Top 10 for the third month in a row thanks to its good progression +23,4%. The Spanish brand sold 290 vehicles during the past month.

AUDI takes back its crown
In the Premium market, AUDIstrong in its 406 cars sold, regains its first position lost last April to the benefit of BMW. The brand with the rings, which recently started marketing the new A1, Q7 et Q8 recorded progress of the order of 22,29%.

BMW this time is satisfied with second place. The propeller brand has passed 365 units and recorded excellent progress in +41.47%.
MERCEDES-Benz once again completes the 100% German leading trio. The brand with the star has sold 294 vehicles and is progressing strongly +50.77%.

Finally, note the very good performance of BYDthe second in a row. The Chinese brand saw its sales increase by +410% over the past month, still driven by the Seal-U PHEV.
