Cybercrime: ways to boost legal action – IP/IT and Communication

Strengthening the offense of illegal administration of an online platform, new offense of “computer fraud” or even creation of a framework to conduct remote dismantling and disinfection operations of computer media… The future national strategy of cybersecurity, a doctrinal project launched by the administration which follows initial work carried out in 2011 and 2015, could suggest new avenues for strengthening judicial action in the fight against cybercrime.

Prepared by the armaments engineer Bruno Marescaux and one of the advisors to the Secretary General for Defense and National Security, Jonathan Collas, this document, a working version of which was consulted by Dalloz Actualités, should give the the to public authorities. However, it must still be validated by the ministries, a project which has clearly fallen behind schedule due to the lack of a new government this summer.
