The Lynk & Co 01 gains a little muscle

Auto – A close cousin of the Volvo XC40, Lynk & Co’s hybrid SUV is benefiting from a mainly technical update, which will perhaps help it justify the price increase

Arriving in our country in 2021, the Lynk & Co brand is pursuing a discreet but honourable career. As a reminder, this brand is part of the Chinese group Geely, like Volvo, from which Lynk & Co takes the technical basis. The 01 is therefore a plug-in hybrid SUV, whose system is based on a 1.5-litre petrol engine, and which announces approximately 70 km of electric autonomy.

When we discovered it at the time of its launch, we were convinced by this original vehicle, very well finished and well built, which offers Volvo technology at a less elitist price. That was in 2021, when you could buy the 01 for 41,000 euros, or subscribe to a new no-obligation subscription plan, at 500 euros per month. Today, it has gone up to 46,000 euros or 699 euros per month.

More powerful

Lynk & Co is therefore preparing to launch an updated version of the 01. Aesthetically, the changes are minimal, with just new colors (it must be said that the brand left very little choice), new rims, and a revised treatment for the grille and rear lights.

On board, there will be a completely new multimedia system, with a 15.4-inch screen instead of 12.7, and a new processor that significantly increases its speed. But s(…) - 20minutes
