Big hit – Cybercriminals from the French Hackers Squad claimed in late August that they had in their possession confidential information hacked from 55,000 online files of SFR customers

The French cybercriminal group French Hackers Squad claimed on its X account on August 27 that it had managed to access the computer files of 55,000 customers of the operator SFR. The hackers gave an overview of the information they had in their possession on the social network. Among the latter are the names, first names, telephone numbers and email and postal addresses of the subscribers, Frandroid details this Wednesday.

Individuals and companies were targeted. Members of the French Hackers Squad explained that they were able to access the data by entering a password and login into the SFR database that they provided. The hackers assured that they wanted to give the company a chance by giving it 60 days to “make its websites a little more secure”. Beyond this deadline, “we will continue to attack you”, the hackers warned.
