This Sunday afternoon promises to be a long one for people who had planned to take the train. Due to a power incident near Aubagne, no trains have been running in both directions between Toulon and Marseille since 2:45 p.m.
If the TER 881.447, blocked on the track with around a hundred passengers on board, was able to return to Aubagne station by its own means (some trains are in fact hybrids of some sort), all the other trains were immobilized at the station .
The SNCF, which does not currently know the causes of the breakdown, has announced a resumption of traffic in very degraded mode (barely 25% of scheduled traffic) from 5:00 p.m. And a gradual return to normal around 10 p.m.
