Last year, sales of the company, including Galaxus and Digitec and belonging to Migros, brought in 3.2 billion francs, indicates a press release published on January 13. Net income from deliveries and services increased by 17% to 2.9 billion.
The company explains these results by the extension of its portfolio with 8 million products, or 25% more over one year. Also, the drop in prices in 2024 made it possible to align with European prices.
In total, more than 4.5 million people have placed orders. By region, French-speaking Switzerland and the canton of Ticino represent the largest share. Liechtenstein, for its part, has curbed online spending.
-Migros intends to strengthen the capabilities of Galaxus, in particular by launching the construction of its logistics center in southern Germany. This will serve “booming” European markets like Germany and France.
Development follows.
