The accident of a coach from the German company Flixbus traveling between Germany and Poland left two dead and injured others on Saturday on a motorway in the north of the country, the company announced on Saturday January 11. The accident occurred in the afternoon on the route between Berlin and the Polish city of Szczecin.
Among the 14 people on board, including a driver, “two people died.” “The other occupants were transported to nearby hospitals”specifies Flixbus. According to local police, the victims are a 29-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man. The police counted eleven injured, including the bus driver.
“The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known,” adds the company. German media footage showed the bus overturned on its side along the highway barrier near thick piles of snow. In March, the accident of a Flixbus bus carrying 54 people in eastern Germany left four dead and many injured.
