Private sales, Black Friday, sales… We are now talking “promotional moments“, explains Michela Frattini, director of the Mc Arthur Glen Provence brand village, located in at Mas de la Péronne: “Obviously, Black Friday has taken an important fundamental role in the turnover of the year.“Over the eleven days of sales, the center achieved + 20% turnover compared to the Black Friday 2023 period (November 17 to 27, 2023) and + 30% attendance compared to the Black period. “The envelopes with the Christmas money”

But the sales remain the historic event. A landmark. Already, “they start the first week of the year“, which suggests that customers have in mind the purchases they want to make after Christmas. “Usually, I ask for envelopes with Christmas money, so I can buy a pretty piece I spotted in the stores. Here, we have beautiful brands that are not found everywhere“, confides Chloé, young mother of two children aged 4 and 9. By this we understand boutiques of major brands in their own name. The difference with Black Friday is “that during the sales the entire store is on sale. Even items that are not on sale during the Black Friday period. By the end of the first week, “there is already a markdown. With inflation, we note that customers buy better or more during this period“. Concretely, the period represents 11% of annual turnover.
