He asked relevant bodies to come up with comprehensive policies and specific roadmaps to create a step change in the awareness and behavior of people and businesses to limit the production, importation and use of vehicles gasoline and oil-based and move to environmentally friendly transportation.

Trân Hông Hà asked the Ministry of Transport to urgently research and develop stricter emissions regulations and standards for domestically produced and imported vehicles, as well as policies to support the transition from vehicles using gasoline towards electricity and green fuels…

He further ordered the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to work to soon launch criteria for identifying areas with high air pollution indices where it is necessary to implement solutions to limit means of transportation pollutants and promote the use of green means of transport…

The Deputy Prime Minister also asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to propose incentive policies and a roadmap for the use of clean and green fuels, the Ministry of Finance to study policies aimed at helping individuals and businesses transition from gasoline and oil-based transportation to environmentally friendly transportation…

Localities, notably Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, are called upon to develop roadmaps to limit the use of gasoline and oil vehicles, and promote the use of green vehicles in areas with high levels of air pollution. ..
