A gourmet break in the heart of Madrid, designed by Zara
With Zacaffè, Zara wants to revolutionize the shopping experience by combining specialty coffee and exceptional design. Accessible from inside the store or directly from the street, this new space offers visitors a gourmet break in an elegant setting.
Inspired by similar projects launched in Dubai, Paris and Lisbon, Zacaffè stands out for its unique identity, designed to adapt to other international locations. The design, signed by the Art Recherche et Industrie agency, pays homage to the neo-Mudejar style, echoing the nearby Casa Árabe in Madrid. Exposed bricks, warm tones and patterns inspired by moucharabiehs give the place an intimate and warm atmosphere.
A simple but refined menu for Zacaffè
On the flavor side, Zacaffè is teaming up with Waco Coffee, a house from La Coruña, to offer specialty coffees, accompanied by artisanal pastries such as croissants and palm trees. An initiative that meets new consumer expectations, to create Instagrammable spaces where aesthetics and culinary pleasure mingle.
The Inditex group plans to export the concept internationally, with openings planned in Japan and South Korea from 2025. Each new location will be personalized to fit into its local environment. A strategy that promises to attract not only fashion enthusiasts, but also lovers of great gastronomic experiences.
