What are the fashionable neighborhoods in Bordeaux? A study by the real estate advertisement site Seloger, published in December 2024, reveals the preferred sectors for buying and renting of houses and apartments.

To establish these two rankings, the Seloger site was based on the number of clicks per ad compared to the number of housing units recorded by INSEE in the neighborhood. The study used data from January to November 2024.

Popular neighborhoods

One thing is obvious, the hypercenter of the Gironde capital is still popular for real estate investments.

The Town Hall and Quinconces district is the most attractive for people who want buy a house. As for those looking for an apartment, it is rather towards the Capuchins and the Victoire that their eyes are turned.

People looking to rent a house mostly clicked on ads in the Lestonat-Monséjour district. It is located in Caudéran, between Boulevard du Président Wilson and the ring road.

For apartment rentals, it is once again the district of Capuchins and Victory which rises to the top of the ranking.
