Imagined by Jean Michel Karam, myIEVA is a beauty and well-being platform that uses innovative technologies (personalized diagnostics, artificial intelligence, connected jewelry, etc.) to offer tailor-made beauty routines. We were able to test the experience and discover the personalized beauty and well-being subscription.
The principle: receive each month a personalized routine like a beauty box. By answering a few questions about our skin type, the needs of our hair and our desires, we then receive a selection of products from the group’s brands: IOMA, Made with Care, IOMA Haircare, Elenature, L’Atelier du Sourcil, Boudoir du regard, RevitaLash and Wonderskin.
myIEVA, what is the technologically personalized beauty and well-being subscription worth?
We decided to test the Origin offer (the cheapest, at €19.90), which allows us to receive a box worth €108 each month. Subscription renewal is automatic, but it can be canceled at any time. For less than 20 euros, the products are delivered in a practical, no-frills bubble envelope. No bulky box or cardboard box, because the important thing is what’s inside, right? Nice surprise, since when we open the box, we discover 2 full size products…
We first discover the IOMA Haircare Moisturizing Hair Essence Serumwhich is normally sold at a price of €41.90. Enriched with jojoba and cinnamon oil, it is ideal for adding shine and taming frizz. Inside the box, there is also the Rich moisturizing cream Feel Intense from the brand Made with Care which normally costs €31.40 and whose formula is ideal for winter. We also find a sample of the Elenature extreme repair mask (10ml), a second hair product, but whose use is quite different from the first.
The little extra of the myIEVA subscription: personalized skin and hair diagnosis
Where the myIEVA box really stands out from other beauty boxes is its little technological touch. In fact, we find in our box un kit to carry out a skin and hair diagnosis at home. Simply download the myIEVA app and then follow the instructions. Using the small patches available in the box, you can analyze the different substances present on the skin and scalp (sebum, flaking) and determine your phototype.
Once the diagnosis has been made, we learn more about our skin and our hair, and the application offers us an ultra-personalized selection of products. A real plus if you don’t really know your skin type or hair type and you are not satisfied with the products you use.
Verdict ? The Origine subscription at €19.90 is really profitable and the products received match the needs of our skin and hair. The skin and hair diagnosis brings a little touch of additional personalization… Flawless!
